As the final touches were being worked for the first installment of the Exordium mixtape series, Jay Young was recording the second volume in another studio fulfilling expectations of his recording home, Showtyme Entertainment, to release a new project every six weeks to close out 2009.  Now fresh off the well received digitally released first offering of a planned three part series, Jay is back with 14 brand new gems for the world to chew on.  Featuring a couple of songs from his nixed Spring album release and assistance from Texas veterans E.S.G. (Money & Fame), Chalie Boy and Magno (Act A Fool), a reworked Mary J. Blige rework (We Ride), as well as labelmates D. Jap and VT, Exordium Volume 2 promises to heighten interest for the third and final installment as Volume 1 did for this project.  Meanwhile, Jay continues to continue laying the groundwork for his debut album planned for 2010.
